AirClamp Technology
AirClamp is a revolutionary technology which enables Chamber3 to offer the most effortless blade changes ever seen on a ink chamber. One button operation releases or secures the blade. With no tools required, Chamber3 is the fastest blade change ever. While conventional chamber clamp systems seize up with use, AirClamp delivers safe and trouble-free fitting or removal, again and again for years, not weeks. With blade pressure automatically equalized by AirClamp too, it’s a system that’s quicker and more reliable, over a longer period of time.
TrueBalance Technology
TrueBalance technology is another game-changer. The unique AirClamp system creates perfectly equalized pressure along the full length of the blade. This ‘true balance’ makes all the difference when it comes to delivering outstanding performance.
Equal contact between the entire blade and roller means even blade wear and far less chance of friction and flutter, and that means longer part life and more reliable print quality too. With no conventional clamp to foul up, there’s no risk of corrosion either – one more problem solved.

The Absolute 2G ink chamber is used in many of the world’s most productive flexo printers. It’s the original and the best-woven carbon-fiber, dual-blade system for all flexo applications.
Absolute ink systems are significantly lighter than traditional aluminium chambers and can be safely lifted by one operator.
How much lighter exactly? A sprightly 65% less than the aluminium equivalent, at just 9kg for a 1,657mm-wide Absolute chamber and 16kg for our 2,400mm-wide chamber.

Unique Vibrations Damping Construction
Due to fluctuating and extreme temperatures, plastic-moulded products such as nylon and UHMW age over time, resulting in bowing, twisting and warping of the structure. Aluminum extrusions also experience warp, as it is impossible to alleviate stress after the final machining process.
This stress eventually causes the material to twist, making it impossible to produce an even wipe across the anilox. Consequently, product rejection is massively increased with inevitable delays.
By comparison, woven carbon fiber is unaffected by variations or extremes in temperature; consistent doctoring is maintained regardless of the harsh environment in which the unit operates.
Flexo often suffers from vibration issues, partly due to the plate layout or to weakness in the actual unit design. Again, Absolute has provided the answer.
Absolute’s 2G chamber is specifically designed and built with carbon fiber, which absorbs vibration, allowing your unit to run faster without bounce or chatter and producing superb print quality at higher speeds.

Reduce Ink Gelling
Absolute worked with an expert in fluidics to redesign the wiper’s profile: nothing too radical, but the difference is clear. UniBlade2 uses a special curved back to create a cyclonic effect that significantly improves performance, both in terms of streamlining ink flow through the circuit and also accelerating distribution across the roller. Quickening the whole process means the ink is kept more stable and has less time to gel, and that brings one big benefit to your printing operation: longer runs with less intervention necessary.

To reduce the risk of gelling and really optimize performance, we looked closer than ever at getting higher volumes of ink more quickly into the cavity, then out again through the returns. We've achieved it with a subtle but intelligent re-design, featuring baffles and all-new 'weir stops' to tightly control ink expulsion.
